Pattern Room

Pattern making is the first—and crucial—stage of production once a design is approved. This is where clothing templates are created for all subsequent work. The pattern room determines the precise sizing scale, which directly influences customers’ purchasing decisions. After grading the garments, it is time to create the project’s prototype.

After passing the pattern-making stage, it is time to test the design assumptions in practice. This is when the client discovers whether the fabric drapes well, if the seams are correctly placed, and whether buttons, snaps, Velcro, zippers, and similar elements are practical and trouble-free for daily use. The client can also test the material’s technical parameters—such as whether a backpack can handle a several-kilogram load or if a stroller footmuff stays waterproof.

Once all specifications are perfected and the model is close to ideal, the clothing templates move on to the cutting room.
